A New Look for Intrepids Stations in Kenya
Mara Camps and Samburu Intrepids are set to take the term ‘under canvas’ to a new level with new hand-built cabins that are specially designed with generous bathrooms. The new cabins will not only have more room but additional large windows and a four-poster bed, a nice writing desk, polished wood floors, head air and a coffee bar. The bathrooms will feature marble sinks, large showers, bathrobes and a variety of specially created luxury toiletries. All 31 cabins at Mara Intrepids and 30 cabins at Samburu Intrepids will be converted to the new style by the end of 2006.
Kakapel Rock Art Gallery in Western Kenya is open to the Public
Ancient rock art became available to visitors for the first time when Kakapel National Monument opened to the public on January 30, 2006. More Gorilla Babies for Bwindi, Uganda
More deaths have been reported in recent days by the Uganda Wildlife Service in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, one of the two gorilla parks in the country.
