The Audacity of Evolution
Professor Louis Bouroune, president of the Biological Society of Strasbourg, director of the Museum of Strasbourg, and Director of the French Institute of Scientific Research said: “Evolution is a myth for adults. In other words, belief in evolution requires one to throw common sense out the window.
Charles Darwin’s “theory of evolution” was based on faulty observations and data. There is a lot of evidence that contradicts this theory. In fact, evolution is not really a theory, a law, or even a science. Ideas can be tested. Scientific laws are proven and provable by experimentation; not so with evolution. As we will see, evolution is closer to blind imagination than science.
Consider an example:
A man talking to a new neighbor in his garage. The man asked, “Did I tell you about my watch?” The neighbor replied, “No. What’s the story?” “One day, I was here in the garage looking for a light. My daughter left her skates, and I went into the tool box. Springs and screws flew everywhere! When I came back to consciousness, I look at the mess, and the whole thing has come together to make this watch.”
In this scenario, the complicated mechanism (the clock) is assembled by random chance. Evolution happens the same way. According to the Darwinists, all life on earth began with a “prime” or mud that fused with electricity or another source of energy, causing the building of the chemical building blocks of life. Over the course of billions of years, these elements became a single living organism, which eventually became all living organisms on earth through irreversible changes.
Unfortunately for believers, scientific law cannot allow this to happen. The second law of thermodynamics states that natural processes progress in the direction of increasing total entropy (disorder) in the universe. In nature, nothing becomes more organized or more complex in structure than it is. Nothing can create something more complex than yourself.
Many people think that the first evidence for evolution is in the fossil record. We often hear reports of discoveries of new creatures. Dinosaur bones, “ape-men,” and other discoveries seem to prove that evolution took place. The scientific explanations of the experts make the arguments appear even stronger.
The fossil record also stands against evolution. There are no fossils of animals in the stages of change. A “new” species appears. For example, there are no fossils showing the development of wings to connect mammals and birds.
The first human ancestor is said to be a species identified by a skeleton known as “Lucy.” It is not generally known, but in many biological circles, Lucy is considered a chimpanzee (1). Neanderthals have been found to be “self-righteous people who changed the way about iodine deficiency diseases,” (2, 3). Articles published in Science Magazine in 1996 acknowledge that Neanderthals, Cro-Magnon man and modern man lived at the same time (4, 5). Also, there are not enough fossils to support the idea that many forms of life inhabited the earth for hundreds of millions of years.
The effectiveness of carbon 14-dating has been called into question. For example, the blood of a seal that had just been killed in Antarctica was tested. It shows that the seal has been dead for 1,300 years (6).
There are many reasons to reject the claims of evolution other than those we have briefly gone over in this essay. Seeing that there is no clear scientific or logical reason to accept Darwin’s theories as truth, deniers choose to “believe” in evolution. British scientist HS Lipton said, “The theory of evolution has become a scientific religion, almost all scientists have accepted it, and many are ready to ‘press’ their observations to fit it.” Instead of believing in a Creator who created man and the rest of the universe with a purpose, they use time and space to create the space that created them. To believe in something that cannot be seen, witnessed, or even tested would be considered by many as religious faith.
